ESX 4.1 u2 - Windows 2003 STD (32-bit) - vCPU problem

Hi,

I have problem with Windows 2003 STD, system had 1 vCPU. I powered it off, change to 4 vPCUs everything went ok, no errors. I powered it on, and system still see only 1 CPU. In windows 2003 there are no erorrs.

If you have any similar problem I would be glad for any help.

It seems Win 2k3 usually does this automatically , until now. Oops, I didn't know. I was confusing Win 2k with 2k3

It seems that some 2k3 has problems, i found article that step by step describes how to change hal to multiplecore.

Now i need to decide if I'm gonna try it, cause in 2-3 months this server will be change to win. 2008 r2. Thx for answer and help.
