View Storage Accelerator

The View Storage Accelerator provides optimization of the overall storage connections for the View environment. It uses in-memory caching of common block reads (Content Based Read Cache) for any type of desktop (persistant or non-persistant) that is completely transparent and runs at the host level (no storage technology required)

What’s cool about it is the significant drop is IOPS used when running large scale View environments. This in turn allows you to scale your View environment further without having to change the hardware underneath. Plus it helps to give a consistant user experience even when there are high impact workloads running.

It's heard that latest VMware View has new feature to cache hot data in the server memory. This will signifcantly reduce boot storm time and give the edges  to compete with Citrix.
