Customer on Vblock 700LX is seeing high number of HDD failures. They had about 5 HDD failures since Dec 2013 & 4 HDD failures for the month of May 2014. Is there any health Check tool in VNX that I can suggest Customer to run. Looking to find root cause What's causing this many HDD Failures.
Well, These issues are so much automated. The HDD Failure on VNX is reported by ESRS Call home and EMC just sents
the tech out to replace the drive. I am the Account Manager in need to explain to Customer why they are having so many drive failures. There are no logs in these SR's. Any pointers to help Customer is appreciated.
