For those who have VNX8000 - Weekly battery test cause error to be reported in event logs.
Hi all,
We have a VNX8000 which is running MCx 05.33.000.5.052. The weekly battery tests cause "red" errors to show up in the SP event logs. We have contacted EMC Support and was told these are normal as they are battery test and things went back to normal - which it does. On our other VNX such as VNX7500 - those battery tests shows up as "Information" events instead of "Erros".
I am wondering if anyone has noticed this on Next-gen VNX running on MCx v33?

Also seeing battery not ready errors on my two VNX5700's. Currently running 5.32.000.5.209 but have seen this error on the previous two code releases.

I'm wondering why they can't suppress those alerts .....
