How can I reclaim free space from deduped filesystem on VNX5300?

Hi, I have a 7TB filesystem that because of deduplication and compression only uses 2TB, my question is:

how can I reclaim those 5TB of "free" space so I can use it for other filesystems in the same pool?

The 2TB of data will not grow as it is a R/O filesystem and used for compliance purposes.

I've tried NDMPcopy to a new 2TB filesystem just to find out that it "rehydrates" the files.

Is there an option other than copying the files in parts, letting dedup run, copying the next part, etc?

thanks!

Regards from Mexico to everyone in this forum!

A Windows based copy that keeps the compression attribute should be able to do that
