How to determine the partition alignment of a Windows 2003 server with VNX LUNs

I've got a Windows 2003 server with a LUN assigned to it and the partition for the D-drive is not aligned as far as I can see. I've been told to use DISKPART with the command "create partition primary align=1024" but I'm unable to check if this is actually aligned!?

The VNX5300 has a storage pool containing SAS & NL-SAS drives and Fast Cache, 4x 200GB SSDs in RAID10.

So how do I work out if my partitioning on the Windows server matches the LUN boundaries?
