Is there a way to copy CIFS Shares from Celerra to Celerra for a migration?
I'm migrating 4 file systems from a Celerra NS700G with a CX600 Clariion backend to a NSX with a CX3-80 backend using Replicator v2. VDM's are not in use on the source Celerra. There are 280 CIFS shares based on these file systems. Currently on the target box, there are 2 production file system with 2 shares. (1 share per fs.) I have already created the replication sessions and they are sync'ing every 30 minutes at this point. It's also my understanding that the Rep_v2 will carry over all the associated quotas. My question is how do I create these same shares on the target box(the NSX) without having to do it manually? Does Rep_v2 happen to do this?

Replicator does a block level copy and will retain permissions and data structure. It cannot be used for creating shares/exports.
There is an application called sharedup that you can find on your 'Celerra 'Tools and applications' CD. Pretty simple to use.
