OS update on VNXe3300
I do IT support for a midsize company.
They have a VNXe3300 that we have been getting alerts that it has a new OS version available.
It is on 2.4.2.21519 and 2.4.3.21980 is available.
I have found how to directions and pretty sure I can do this.
But since it will be my first time I am curious how intrusive it is as far as downtime etc.?
So I know what to tell the client to expect and to schedule it so it can be done.
In looking around the support website I for their login I also found a option to schedule a OS update so do they do it remotely maybe?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

IMO, you are best to schedule a short outage window. Although most upgrades are listed as NDU, I've found some do in fact cause some minor disruption. Better to be safe.
I've attached a guide (a bit old) that has some useful details in it.
Also, keep in mind that if the customer has premium support, they can get the EMC updates group to do the upgrade remotely, at no cost. Have someone onsite though
