Uninitialize a VNX 5700 Block Only
We have moved a VNX from one place to another. Not keeping the DAE's straight. I was wondering now that it is hooked back up, how to handle this. We are getting errors complaining (One or more disk drives are in the wrong slot or missing.) 0x7482. Now, there is no data on it we need, but I would love to clear the the errors before we begin using it again. Any ideas? I have contacted support and they sent it out to our local CE. They are rather perplexed as well.

No, all DAE's look fine and and there were two bad drives after the initial move. Also, on another note, it sees 9 of the 10 DAE's. I just want to know how to drop the internal config. Seems like resetting this thing back to default might do the trick.

Have you noticed any amber light on the SP's or DAE's ??

Ok, so finalize the post. You cannot uninitialized the array. The SP's have to be re imaged and that is a long process. So if you move your array, make sure you keep your same DAE order.
