Unisphere Remote - network requirements

Hi All

Does anyone knwo the practical requirements for network bandwidth between a VNX and a Unisphere Remote appliance.

Im about to replace two CX3-80s with VNXs in one of our offices thats overseas, on the other end of a smallish network link.  Navisphere over this network link is too laggy to be usable - I currently log into a server thats co-located with the storage to manage them.   Im interested to see if Unisphere remote would improve the situation ?

Does anyone have experiences they would be willing to share ?

Thanks

Steph

Re: Unisphere Remote - network requirements

All good and helpful information thank you,

What Im trying to find is the maximum practical latency requirements. If there are any.

eg If I implement a Unisphere remote appliance, will it manage  VNX systems that are on a network link with a latency of ~150ms or is that too far away ?

Has anyone had any experience with this?

TIA
