VNX 5300 and Site Recovery Manager

I am in the process of configuring our VNX 5300 to use SRM. However, SRM does not see the replicated LUNS - only the CIFS replica's.

On each SRM Server I've installed:

* EMC Mirrorview Enabler for VNX SRA (5.0.23)

* EMC VNX Replicator Enabler for VNX SRA (5.0.15)

* EMC VNX SRA for VMware vCenter SRM 5 (5.0.1)

* Navisphere CLI 7.30.15.0.44

I've added the array managers for each site and everything here works correctly, but no replicated LUNS are available.  (From Unisphere I can confirm these LUNs have replicated correctly).

Are there commands that have to be run to tell SRM about these replicated LUNS?

Thanks!

We are using mirrorview to replicate the LUNs.

How are you replicating the LUNs, using what?

Are you running flare 30 on the vnx? Also, when you installed Navisphere CLI, did you select Low security instead of Medium? Make sure you don't specify the credentials during the install as well. If you do it will not work. If you are unsure just uninstall Navisphere CLI and re-install it. During the uninstall state that you want to remove the security files.

Doing that I receive the following:

SRA command 'discoverArrays' failed. Unable to locate enabler for input connection information.

Verify the Management IP/Hostname and credentials.

I have tried various accounts - nasadmin, sysadmin, root etc

It seems to be an issue connecting to SPB.

When I configure the array manager, for the management IP/Hostname I enter the control station IP.

For the field "Secondary Management IP / Hostname (MirrorView)" I enter the IP of SPB.

The wizard seems to complete with whatever is in this field, so it only seems to validate once you refresh the array.

I have installed Navisphere CLI as you mentioned above.

Enter SP-A IP address instead of the control station

Take a look at this: https://community.emc.com/thread/136404?start=0&tstart=0

I got that error before and it was related to Navisphere CLI. The security file was present and I had to remove it.
