VNX 5300 cant see my Windows Server 2012 in Inititators

Hi we have a VNX5300 SAN

I have zoned the Windows 2012 server to the san.

the server is using one Emulex LPE 12002E HBA

I have installed MPIO on the server and i've ENABLED support for ISCSI and SAS devices.

Rebooted the server and now when i bring up MPIO in control panel, i can see 2 new DEVICE HARDWARE ID's

so i am guessing that the zoning on the fiber switch was done correctly.

But when i go to Unisphere and go to hosts>initiators menu, i dont see the new initiators listed.  I believe they should automatically pop in there as new initiators, but i dont see them.

I tried to refresh and no luck

please help  I did the zoning my self on 2 MDS 9124 switches

those are not IDs for EMC devices. Sounds like you need to go back and validate your zoning.

Your RIght!

I fixed the issue with our zoning.  It was the activate zone command in Cisco IOS that i forgot to execute.

thanks
