VNX File System Migration (CDMS) and Virtual Data Movers
Hi,
I'm planning a File system migration from legacy 2003 server to a unified VNX5300. I have been reading the File System Migration 2.0 PDF and it states that the tool is not supported with virtual data movers, only physical.
Q. can the migration be completed to a physical data mover, and then the data/CIFS shares be cut over to a VDM?
Keen to understand what others have done.
