VNX Monitoring and Reporting - LDAP
Does VNX Monitoring and Reporting do any sort of AD integration so you can use AD usernames to log into the tool? I'm setting it up now and can't find any reference to that ability. I would rather do that than the shared user account.

No – right now it uses it’s own accounts

Yeah, I also heard from Support that the prodcut needed if you want LDAP integration at this level is Warch4net. Here is the reply from suport.
"You also asked, if VNX Monitor and Reporting could authenticate AD accounts. VNX Monitor and Reporting does not support LDAP. LDAP support will be found in the full product Watch4net."
I hope that helps anyone else looking.

Is that really a big deal ?
Given that M&R is only reporting and you cannot use it to change the VNX config or look at user data

You could open a product enhancement request through Powerlink
