We need VNX Simulator for file version 7.1.72.1, help us with the location where I can download and use it.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "VNX Support Forum".

1) For VNX VSA's, you are limited to just what development has chosen to release. Here is the complete list (from v5.6 to the latest v8.1):

2) As for the documentation, here are the relevant Installation and Configuration Guides:

3) As you'll see, from the v7.1 branch, you only have the following choices:
a) v7.1.47.5
b) v7.1.65.8
