VNX Unisphere and Java compability

Is there a chart somewhere that shows what version of Java is compatible with Unisphere?  I don't go into that often except to add more Luns to VMware, but when I do its a pain to a find a machine that it will work on.   I just wish EMC would get away from Java Management being most browsers are dropping support for Java plugins.

Should be listed in the release notes of the VNX OE version that you are using

Rainer and Glen,

I looked at the release notes of my VNX5500 Block only and it is running 5.32.000.5.216 and I don't see it.  I even looked at the current target code for VNX1 5.32.000.5.219.  On the VNX2,  such as release 5.33.008.119 I see a Java compability in the Guide.

Why isn't there such information in VNX1 Guides?  I'm sure EMC has plenty of customers on VNX1.  I just want to know what version is needed/required to pull up Unisphere on VNX 5500?

Thanks.

The release notes that talk about java are the Unisphere release notes - the latest that I could find is the one below - this is for flare 32 update 218. See page 12 for the java information.

PS - you can use the latest Unisphere off-array to get the features from Flare 33 - just get the latest Off-array Client and Server for Flare 33. You can create the off-array on a Windows server, then create a domain with that server and add in your arrays.
