VNX event correlation

Hi folks,

working with one of our customers we have configured a VNX for sending SNMP Traps to their monitoring platform. They are sucessfully reciving events from VNX, but they want to have event correlation

P.E, On a disk failure a trap is sent with an event code and a text message, but when disk is replaced, a different trap is sent with a different code and text message.

They need to implement auto closure for VNX alerts, but it's very difficult to implement because we don't know the relation between the code of an alarm when is generated and this alarm when is solved.

Has anyone dealt with this issue? Is it possible that it can be integrated with some third party software?

Any suggestion would be appreciated?
