VNX for File performance issues
Hello,
we are having serious performance issues (killing IOPs when CPU reaches 90 to 100%) on our VNX5600. EMC support failed to address them so far, deflecting the problem on our usage pattern (which hasn't changed in months and is quite normal). We even discovered that on some FS simply removing a file or renaming it can cause 100% use for several minutes (!!!). Has anyone ever encountered such kind of problem and how was it solved assuming it was a bug?

Are you referring to the Data Mover's CPU reaching 90-100%?

Yes indeed; usage is CIFS. I guess you can figure out the SR?
