VNXe CIFS replication
Hi there, I seem to remember that you need 100% of the capacity of a share free in the pool in order to do an inital replication of a CIFS share is that correct? Many thanks, Ed

Hi Ed,
The condition for replication is, both the source and destination shares has to be of same size irrespective of the pool. Once you create the source share, ie from Unisphere ==> Storage ==> Shared folders ==> Shared Fodler Detail. Click on "replication" tab select either local replication or remote replication and click on "create destination" this will open the Unisphere for the destination VNXe and will complete the wizard for creating destionation share. (this method is recommended as this will create the destination share the same size as in source and you cant modify the size).
