Re: What access level is needed for XML API authenticate with Celerra control station?
The Celerra XMLAPI has a protocol for communication that allows a client to first authenticate with the Celerra and then to execute xml requests (confirming to the published XMLAPI schema) that will help manage the Celerra, pull stats etc., This protocol of communication can be found in the XMLAPI Programmer's reference guide.
A user who communicates as per this protocol would still require access privileges to access the Celerra using XMLAPI. An administrator can provide this privilege by logging into Celerra Manager, navigation to the Security->Administrator page and either creating a new user or modifying an existing user. In the new/modify user page the check box "XMLAPI v2 access allowed" should be enabled in the section called Client Access. The save button should be clicked on to save changes.
