Where to disable EMC Home alerting on a unified system
Dear all
Usually we are using the block notifcation template from EMC and change the settings that systems covered by us will send notifcation emails to our inbox.
Unfortunately there has been an error on the system and the email did not reach only us moreover EMC was contact also which confuses the customer due to the fact the he received emails from both side.
I couldn't find the settings related to alerting on the file/controlstation part can anyone tell me where to disable or configure this globaly/file/controlstation? In the block notificaiton template the settings for call home etc. is disabled.

From within Unisphere you can configure the Alert Template - and disable the connect home or take out the email to.

you can check/modify the current config from the control station;
$ /nas/sbin/nas_connecthome -info
Test the config using the "-test" switch
Modify it with the "-modify" switch
If you just want to disable it while you do maintenance/works;
$ /nas/sbin/nas_connecthome -service stop
Remember to start it again when you're done.
