Why there are white spaces in ESA Heatmaps?
Hello,
I installed EMC Storage Analytics last week.
After looking at the three standard dashboards I found out that there is some performace data missing in the heatmaps of "performance-at-a-glance".
I also found that the metrics set for a traditional RAID group is different from a Pool LUN, e.g.
- no latency metrics for Pools LUNs but for a traditional RAID group LUN
So currently I cannot build a heatmap for all LUNs on an array to display the latency metrics.
Do I have to change something at the VNX side?
Regards,
daniel

Ok, I found out that Pool LUNs and traditional LUNs in general have a different set of performance metrics.
Can somebody give me a clue about how to differentiate between these LUN types in vCOps?
From the environment overview in the vCOps custom I am not able to separate these two types with the given set of tags.
... I also found out that for most of the traditional LUNs there is no set of performance metrics provided in the Storage Metrics dashboard?

I found out that white spaces are coming from MetaLUNs. No performance stats are being collected from them. Is that a known issue?
