consitency of a replicated VMware NFS datastore?
For iSCSI replication I have to use the Replication Manager which creates a consitant Snapshot of all VMs residing on that datastore.
To replicate an NFS share hosting a VMware datastore from one VNXe to another only the "internal" replication method is supported.
There isn't any log visible in the vCenter, that this methode would create the same consitant snapshots of the VMs as the Replication Manager is doing it.
So does the internal NFS replication really produce consistent copies of the NFS datastore related to the status of the VMs?
Why doesn't the Replication Manager support NFS any replications for VNXe as it is for Cellera or VNX File?

Hello,
The VNXe to VNXe NFS replication uses the replication license from from both the VNXe's. This is not integrated to vcenter or the host rather its on the datastore level and the consistancy of the replication depends on the RPO set for the replication session.
Why doesn't the Replication Manager support NFS any replications for VNXe as it is for Cellera or VNX File?
There is no need to buy an additional replication manager license if you have replication license on both VNXe for NFS and CIFS.
