The first question would be, "why would you want to do this?"  By default, Access Logix is enabled on the array to limit access to different LUNs/hosts.  If you're running a VM environment and want to share LUNs between clusters, that can be (easily) done without disabling Access Logix.

This VNX will be Fiber attached to IBM SVC, so no host will be conected to VNX. They currently have CX3 and CX4 which are running without Access Logix and the customer wants to keep it in the same way. That's is the reason we want to disable the Access Logix in VNX.

Did you remove all existing storage groups prior to running that CLI command? What is the error the CLI is returning?

EMC Engineering said, In VNX series Access Logix can't be turned off. It's factory enabled setting.

Hi Prakash,

Is there any internal engineering mode option to disable?

Apparently best practice recommendation with a SVC in front is to disable and this answer is causing some grief at a customer site.
