re-purpose FC ports on VNX5500 SP ??

We have a 'unified' VNX5500 with both block and file capabilities. Except we've never used the file portion and have no plans to ever use it.  So each SP has 4 FC ports builtin - 2 ports going out to the FC fabric for all our block hosts and 2 ports going up to the unused data mover.

We're now in a project to replace our end-of-life FC switches and it would actually come in very handy to be able to attach the replacement FC switches to these unused FC ports on the SP that are going to the DME.  Is it possible to re-purpose these ports to become regular block type FC connections to our new switches ??
