Errors when attempting to register AMP for VIAS setup

I am trying to setup VIAS in our lab, but keep receiving the same error:

"Failed to register array management provider...cause:unable to connect"

I have checked that ECOM is running on the SMI-S provider (AMP), the user and password is correct, and the AMP is pingable from the VPLEX (and vise versa). In this case the SMI-S provider host is a Windows server.

Anyone else? I have searched for docs and KB articles on this, have not found anything on it.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
