VPLEX Device mobility when lun is RP Replicated
Hi All
If a VPLEX lun is replicated using Recoverpoint and if we need to do VPLEX Device mobility then can we directly migrate using VPLEX device mobility job though the lun is RP replicated or do we need to remove that lun from RP control (ie. remove Replication set from CG in RP, remove lun from VPLEX CG, remove lun from RP storage view) and then only can perform VPLEX device mobility ?

Hi,
The VPlex mobility either device or extent does not change any properties of the virtual-volume. So, there is not additional changes needed for RP protected virtual-volumes. But, if the Lun is expanded or resized , it requires additional steps for RP. Please refer Recoverpoint lun Resize procedure.
