VPLEX vmware datastore size
What is the recommended VMware datastore size? We are thinking about creating a global distributed volume and presented to stretched ESX cluster.
What would be a recommended size of datastore? is 500GB too large, I am concern about time it take to synced up.
The vsphere datastor will be store virtual machines used to be protected by MirrorView lun for VMware SRM.

Our standard is 2TB for vmware datastores and yes, it took almost 8 hours across very fast dark fiber to Metro the distributed volume for the first time. Beyond that first time sync, we have not experienced any problems using that size.
