What does ViPR do in a VPLEX environment?

ViPR will simplify and automate many VPLEX tasks like presenting storage from a backend array to a host through VPLEX. That includes creating the backend storage, claiming that storage, creating extents, devices, virtual volumes and storage views, all done from a single service from ViPR's service catalog. ViPR can also be used to easily migrate volumes between different virtual pools or to create VPLEX distributed devices.
