Avast! New 7.0.1466 Released
Mostly fixing some bugs.

Have you gone for this update? If so, what is your reaction to it... if not, how long do you plan on waiting before trying?
Quickly glancing over the informational thread in the avast forum, it seems that the script shield is no longer working with IE9 (after this month's MSFT updates were applied).
That seems to be the only real "glitch" being reported.
I'm still wondering about how the auto-sandbox is working/changed: I liked its behavior under the older avast6 --- as was reinstated in build 7.0.1426 (which I still have on my system) --- but have doubts about the "improvements" made in newer builds.

Just upgraded this morning through Avast! UI. So far no problems. I noticed DeLL Forums a little slow but all other Internet browse and speed seems OK. It kept my settings and the only two things were that IE WebRep plugging was installed when I had it uninstalled in the last version. Also the streamming update although active, there was not a stablished connection. I had to deactivate it and activate it again.
There has not been any VPS update yet so I am waiting for it.
Yes there seems to be some glitch with Script Shield and IE 9. let see how it develops.
About the AutoSandBox. I can not tell you anything since as I said before I do not have it active because I run Comodo Autosandbox.
As I said other times in this forum about Avast!. It is better to wait a week or so because Avast! team usually has another upgrade afterwards.
