Re: HJT LOG

DD5a4a,

Let's see what we can do...

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\documents and settings\david\local settings\temp\XkSolGk5t.exe
C:\windows\system32\IXVnZ.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\David\Application Data\eetu.exe
C:\Windows\System32\wsaupdater.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u sep.dll
regsvr32 /u esyn.dll
regsvr32 /u Clicks10017.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing.

Before we begin, let's move HiJackThis to it's own folder; like c:\HJT. When we're done 'cleaning' off your system, we're going to 'flush' the temporary folders which, with HiJackThis in it's current location, we'll lose both the program and the backups it creates. These backups are important in case we need to restore any 'fixed' entry(s) later.

Also move the "Backups" folder, for HiJackThis, if present.

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,C:\Windows\System32\wsaupdater.exe,

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {69D7642D-E041-7BB7-D321-6C557FA92F46} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\pce.dll (file missing)

O3 - Toolbar: Band Class - {C5183ABC-EB6E-4E05-B8C9-500A16B6CF94} - C:\Program Files\SEP\sep.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dfLCCVygo] C:\documents and settings\david\local settings\temp\dfLCCVygo.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SJP] C:\documents and settings\david\local settings\temp\SJP.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sTnj] C:\documents and settings\david\local settings\temp\sTnj.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [XkSolGk5t] C:\documents and settings\david\local settings\temp\XkSolGk5t.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IXVnZ.exe] c:\windows\system32\IXVnZ.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [6ypz] C:\windows\system32\6ypz.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [98D0CE0C16B1] rundll32.exe D0CE0C16B1,D0CE0C16B1

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Bmh] C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.exe

O23 - Service: WLTRYSVC - Unknown - C:\WINDOWS\System32\WLTRYSVC.EXE C:\WINDOWS\System32\bcmwltry.exe (file missing)

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

Run "Disk Cleanup" and allow it to remove everything it finds; especially in temporary folders.

folders...

C:\Program Files\SEP
C:\Program Files\eSyndicate
C:\Program Files\Middadle

files...

C:\windows\system32\IXVnZ.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\David\Application Data\eetu.exe
C:\Windows\System32\wsaupdater.exe
C:\windows\system32\6ypz.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\mhc.exe

Don't reboot your computer just yet! Check for the presence of "C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe" (make sure you can view hidden and system files/ folders). If it isn't there and you reboot your computer, you won't be able to log back on into your user account.

Post back a new log along with the results of the above file.

Mike.
