HOW TO POST HJT?

Hello,

Was finally able to download HJT after creating its own file. As per the instructions I went to C: drive, Explore, Right click in the main pane, New>Folder, typed HJT then Enter. I then downloaded HJT and ran a scan and after the scan was complete a message appeared advising me to move HJT to its own folder from its current temporary file. How do I do this. How do I post the log so you can look it over? Thanks.

Steve:    After some experimentation I've also ended up with a HJT folder in my Start menu and was wondering if it will work from there also.

It needs to be in it's own folder on C:\ drive.

To create a new folder do the following:

Open your Windows Explorer
Highlight your C:\ drive on the left side.
Then click on FILE and then NEW and FOLDER.
You will see that a blank folder has been created to your right
It will be dark and unnamed, click on the folder that is blank and name it HJT by typing that in the box.
Then hit your ENTER button and you should see the folder become HJT.

Now you have created a NEW folder for the HJT program on your C:\ drive.

You need to drag all the contents of the old HJT into the new HJT folder. Just drag the files and put them in the folder.

Delete the old folder.

To post your results all you have to do is save the scan to a text file and then just paste the results into this thread.

I've tried to expalain this to you as simple as I could.

I hope this helps

Steve
