NEED HELP ASAP Maybe virus?

I was in control panel and clicked the back button and a message saying Dr watson postmortem debugger has encountered a problem... I tried to close it my computer froze. I read this could be a mask for a really bad virus. Need help!!

Many programs malfunction at some point, so it may not necessarily be a virus. But just to check, run your anti-virus if you haven't already and your anti-spyware if you haven't either. If you don't have either programs, I'll give you a link to a free ant-virus and anti-spyware that works wonders and is recommended by many people on this forum. Respond soon. S.C

thanks for replying SC. I ran my antivirus program and that just found threats and ressloved them it didn't find the dr watson, I guess it is not a virus, its part of windows NT. Thanks again.
