No Icons...only background

Problem:

Running Windows XP. I originally kept getting the blue screen of death. I was able to start in safe mode with networking. In safe mode I recieved a background that said my computer was infected. Also, received pop-ups when a started Firefox saying my computer was infected...click here to fix. I didn't click of course. I was able to downloaded NORTON 360, which uninstalled Macafee that was originally installed. Ran NORTON and found six items:

SafeStrip

Adware.Hotbar

Tracking Cookie

Trojan.Vundo

Trojan Horse

Trojan.Dropper

NORTON said all items were resolved. I restarted and attempted a normal boot. Was able to login, but after entering my password, only my background appeared...no icons. Waited 60 minutes with no joy. Attempted to boot in safe mode, but only got to the black screen with safe mode. Then did ctrl, alt, delete and run explorer.exe. That is how I'm operating now to post on this website. I downloaded HiJack This...log posted below.

1. Rerun Hijackthis (scan only) and place checks beside the following entries
  • F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,C:\WINDOWS\system32\twex.exe,
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Tquveriy] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Hlebakuladolequ.dll",e
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Framework Windows] frmwrk32.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Bciwukurub] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\ojucamot.dll",e

Close all other open windows except Hijackthis and Select " Fix checked"

Close Hijackthis ->> Reboot your PC

2. Please download Combofix and save to your desktop:
  • Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop
    Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the contents of the C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

I reran Hijackthis...the following entry was not present:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Framework Windows] frmwrk32.exe

Checked the other three entries and selected "Fix checked."

Rebooted, downloaded Combofix and ran...told me to write down the followoing files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\senekajlkyrvkk.sys

C:\WINDOWS\system32\senekatbaqgox.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\senekdbqlmprk.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\senekaltpqmxdn.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\senekadbvewqvm.dat

Clicked OK and it re-booted, got to the login in screen and logged in as administrator. Continued to run Combofix without touching anything. It went through several parts noting things it deleted. Then it re-booted and got to the login in screen, tried to login as adminstrator, and it immediately logged me out. I never even got out of the "WELCOME" screen. Tried to log in under one of my other accounts and again in "saved settings" and logged out before I even had a glimpse of the desktop.>>>STUCK HERE!

Those files you noted are part of a nasty Rootkit infection.

Can you boot into SafeMode?

No...anytime I boot into Safe Mode, Safe Mood with Networking or Safe Mode with Command Prompt I receive the same response. That is whether I log in under a user acount or administrator...it immediatley logs me off.

Have your Disk ready and perform an XP Repair Install. A repair install does not wipe your hard drive, it allows you to keep your files (except for corrupted ones)

The instructions are HERE

When done, post a fresh Hiajckthis log in your reply
