Another Reason to Dump Norton Anti-Virus (and all Symantec Products). Read here and here. The funny thing is Symantec doesn't know what the problem is and how to fix it. Par for the course.
There's certainly no prohibition against replying to ancient posts... it's just a practical matter, as the information there is almost-certainly guaranteed to be irrelevant at this point.
