Updates 3/1/16 - Sandboxie, SAS

Sandboxie Version 5.10 ( http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?VersionChanges#v_5.10 )

Released on 1 March 2016.

  • Sandboxie binaries are now dual-signed (SHA1 & SHA256) to eliminate IE 11 and Windows 10 certificate warnings.
  • Fixed Win 10 FR Build 14267 (SBIE1113 Cannot find Nt system service, reason MASTER TABLE)
  • Fixed Win 10 FR Build 14271 (SBIE1113 Cannot find Nt system service, reason MASTER TABLE)

Remarks:

1)  I'm assuming there's still a FREE version available.

2) For what it's worth (for better or worse), I'm still running version 4.08 (or 4.09), the last version from Ronen Tzur (aka "Tzuk"), before Sandboxie was completely recoded using Visual Studio 2010.   See http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/virus-spyware/f/3522/t/19580964

Caveat: I've started seeing some warning/error messages, as some of the older features are apparently no longer supported.

Free Internet Security - WOT Web of Trust       Use OpenDNS       MalwareBytes Anti-Malware

Windows 7 Pro SP1 (64-bit), avast! v17 Free, MBAM3 Pro, Windows Firewall, OpenDNS Family Shield, SpywareBlaster, MVPS HOSTS file, MBAE Premium, MCShield, WinPatrol PLUS, SAS (on-demand scanner), Zemana AntiLogger Free, IE11 & Firefox (both using WOT [IE set to WARN, FF set to BLOCK]), uBlock Origin, CryptoPrevent.

[I believe computer-users who sandbox (Sandboxie) are acting prudently.]
