Version 6.5 of Emsisoft Anti-Malware released today.
New features include:
New Outlook plugin to integrate Emsisoft Anti-Malware directly into Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010.
New automatic Game mode that automatically suppresses notifications from being displayed when running full screen presentations or games
Better integration of the Emsisoft Anti-Malware network
Improved start up times
Updated command line scanner
Improved self protection
More info, and download here:

Current users can upgrade to 6.5 using the internal updater (even users of the free version).
Initial impressions:
- Still no compelling reason to purchase. EAM 6.5 Free remains a fast 2nd opinion scanner/remover (60 seconds on my XP, 30 seconds on my Win 7 system, for a Quick scan), with a low false positive detection rate of late.

Joe,
Given your recent endorsement of HitMan Pro --- which seems to include EAM's database --- do you feel it's really necessary to run EAM also?

Probably not. But EAM has a full on-demand scanner for that "rainy day" - and malware removal capabilities - that HMP does not.
