Vostro 470, how to install Windows 10 64bit?
Some days ago I try to install window 10-64 bits on my computer Dell Vostro 470 but I've notice that my computer was slow for a new window 10-64 bits and I think that I did a wrong windows installation. Can you guys give an advice or instruction about how to install windows 10-64 bits? I have my original windows 10 DVD installation. Thanks

That installation disk is probably out of date now. Use the Dell instructions for online updates. Be sure to get all the driver and bios updates before upgrading to 10. You should have no problem with windows 10 64bits because all recent cpu's are capable of running 64bits

Most computers are SSD based these days.
If you are still using a spinning-HDD as it's bootable C: , that is likely why.
I installed Windows-10 Pro 64bit on an older Vostro-460 (XPS-8300) ... with a SSD C: ... and it works fine and fast.
