ADVANCED BIOS SETTING ( Vostro 5490 )

20200314_225645[1].jpg

Accessing the bios I see a switch at top right of each page to enable "Basic" or "Advanced" settings

Switching to "Advanced" I don't see any additional setting in anyone of the several bios setting pages..

This does not make any sens so..

..I guess  the additional settings remain hidden, even if the  switch at top right is set to "Advanced"

I would appreciate to know  how to  see/access the "advanced" settings which should be visible once the  the switch at top right of each bios setting page is set to "ADVANCED"

Thanks

I have copied a screenshot just to show the position of the switch to set the "Basic" or "Advanced" view

Welcome to the Dell Community  @Max_74

I would say what you see is what you get.

That BIOS is used for many models and the "Advanced" options may be limited to no options on your model???

There is no "Secret" code or backdoor to gain access to special advanced options!!!

Unless a BIOS update can give more "Advanced" options then what you see is what you get.

Best regards,

U2
