Buying a new RAM card.
- I am having a Dell vostro 14-3468. It came 4gb ram and an Intel core i3 7100u processor. It supports 32gb ram with 2133mhz speed. I am playing GTA V on it but due to less RAM, it lags a lot. So I want to install 16 gb ram stick in the second slot. Also, I don't want to compromise with performance (Dual Channel) Please help me regarding this topic?

You would need to add 2 matching pairs of 8GB for a total of 16GB.
OR:
You would need to add 2 matching pairs of 16GB for a total of 32GB.
What is Dual-Channel Memory???

I meant if I put a 16 gb stick in my laptop, will it work with that 4 gb one.

It's hard to say when and if mismatched memory will work in a system.
Especially if the manual does not reference that memory configuration???
4GB + 16GB total 20GB

Then the question becomes "Why"
Just add 2 matched pairs of 8GB and take advantage of the "Dual Memory"
If not install the extra 16GB and let us know if the configuration of 4GB + 16GB works.

To run your system in dual channel mode I would suggest you install two RAM sticks of 16 GB each.
Your system will not run in dual channel mode if you have a 4 GB and 16 GB stick in your system.
So remove the 4 GB stick from your system and install two 16 GB RAM sticks.
