On the hybrid nodes the disks are SSD's and SAS 10K RPM disks.

Each node has 1 SSD and 3 to 5 SAS 10K RPM disks.

And the 2 TB drives released today are 7.5K RPM

Hi folks, could anyone please tell me about the SSD with 3.84 TB on VxRAIL ALL Flash Model is in eMLC or cMLC?

Thanks.

The 3.84 TB drives are 3D NAND TMLC. The development of Triple Level Cell (TLC) flash and 3-D or vertical NAND (3-D NAND) technologies has resulted in the promise of much higher capacity flash drives at more desirable price points. EMC are using these drives in VMAX, Unity and now VxRail.

EMC sources from multiple vendors and we do not publicly disclose our suppliers.
