Dell Inspiron 5765 Generating Numerous "YOUR PC RAN INTO A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO RESTART" Errors

I've had this laptop for about two weeks and have subject issues from the start.  I've installed all the Dell and Windows 10 updates available, but, they just keep coming. The most irritating problem is the cursor freezing up, requiring a reboot.  Additionally, the most frequent stopcodes have been "Page fault in non-page area" and "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL".  The most recent, and, most concerning, is "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED".

I would appreciate any advice/assistance in sorting out this machine before I decide to give it back.

Thank you for writing to us!

For the errors that you have been getting could be a malware or virus as there are multiple issues.Kindly try the following steps:

Method 1

Start your Windows

Press Windows key and the C key to open the Charm Bar

Click Settings

Go to Change PC Settings

Select General

Click Advanced Startup

Click Restart Now

Go to Troubleshoot

Select Advanced Options

Click UEFI Firmware Settings

Select Restart

Method 2

Go to the Advanced Menu. Depending on your BIOS/UEFI version, this menu may have a different name.

Find the Cache Memory option

Hit Enter

Select Disabled

Press F10 to Save & Exit your changes

Restart your computer

The cursor issue may also be related to the same.

If this doesnt work run a virus scan on the system and then a clean installation of the operating system.
