ESRV_SVC_WILLAMETTE -— "Auto-Destruct! [WATCHDOG]" since Win10 Anniversary Update

I've had some minor issues ever since I updated to Windows 10 in July, but now it's serious. For 3 days in a row, I've woken up to a frozen XPS9100. (I got updates including 3176935, 3176936, 3176937 on Sep. 28. These are related to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.)

The last nightly event in Event Viewer is:

......Auto-Destruct! [WATCHDOG]

The description for Event ID 2 from source ESRV_SVC_WILLAMETTE cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

......Auto-Destruct! [WATCHDOG]

This thread suggests Intel Driver Update Utility (IDUU) is the culprit and it should be removed. I'm coming here for a second opinion. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the XPS 9100 computer has not been tested for Windows 10 upgrade
Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected. This does not mean that Windows 10 will not work on this computer. It is just that Dell did not create any Windows 10 drivers for the computer.
