Factory recovery media / download
My Dell XPS 9550 came without any recovery media, which has sadly been the standard for the past few years. Unfortunately, it's been crashing and getting BSODs like crazy, so I decided to do a clean installation of the operating system. I tried creating Recovery USB in Win 10 and it returned an error and wasn't able to create installation USB this way. I tried Dell Backup & Recovery software, with basically the same result.
So, I decided to look for an option of obtaining installation media for my system. I found My Dell Downloads, after many problems I have managed to get my system registered and the only thing I see available for download is Mc Affee Life Save - Common Build. Which I don't need and don't want anywhere close my system. But, there is no OS installation media available for download there. How do I obtain a copy of Windows 10 installed on my system?

Make your own using the Create Media Tool at MS website. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully--

The outcome of using the link above:
"Recovery image not available for your Service Tag.
Sorry, but a Dell Hosted Recovery Image is currently not available for the Service Tag that you entered. Please enter another Service Tag or contact Dell Technical Support for further assistance."
It may be because I'm in the UK and the link leads to the US web page and US Dell support...

Yes, I can do that. I can also find Win 10 ISO and make a bootable USB without their media creation tool. But that will be the retail version of Win 10, not OEM.
My point is that since I'm not able to create recovery media on my Dell machine, I still should be able to install the OS in its Dell, OEM version. SO I'm wondering if they hid it somewhere on their website and I can't find it.

You are suppose to use DBaR to create a Factory Recovery Media.
