Inspiron 17 7779 2-in-1 screen rotation diabled
On my brand new Inspiron 17 7779 2-in-1 is the display not rotating in tablet mode. The corresponding checkmark in the settings is disabled and can not be changed.

I have a 7779 but the rotation option is locked until you put the unit in a condition it should rotate. Which normally means the screen is more than 180 degrees.

Thank you for the reply. Right, I wrote 7999 initially but it is actually a 7779 (fixed my post). Its all working fine now, it just seems to be a bit tricky to get this rotate option in the tablet mode settings unlocked.

I also have a Dell Inspiron 7779. I installed iRotate so I would have a means of rotating the screen myself if the Tablet mode auto-rotate was not working.
