Monitor blacks out for a few seconds after driver update

Hi all,

I'm having the same problem as posted here. After the automatic driver update by Microsoft, my monitor now blacks out for a few seconds at random intervals, several times a day.

The driver update "26.20.100.7156" was installed on 30 Oct 2019 (according to Windows Updates log). I looked at the Event logs in Device Manager for the graphics card, and the driver is different.

  • 29/8/2019: Driver Management concluded the process to install driver igdlh64.inf_amd64_492c3fef20b5dc05 for Device Instance ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1912&SUBSYS_82A5103C&REV_06\3&11583659&2&10 with the following status: 0x0.

I want to roll back to the version from 29/8, but I'm unable to do it as the button was grayed out in Device Manager. Also, uninstalling the driver and letting it reinstall automatically simply reinstalls the newer, problematic version of the driver.

How can I roll back the driver?

Thank you.
