No sound. IDT high definition audio codec problem Windows 10
I updated my Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 with Windows 10. Since then there has been several instances of my sound not working. Since the latest update, I've had to restore my system 5 times to get it to work again. It says I have the latest driver for my IDT high definition audio codec and that the device is working properly, but I get no sound and my audio players say there is a problem with my audio service. I would like to figure out why this happens as every time I have to restore my laptop, I have to update several programs as well which takes quite a bit of time.
