Wireless Adapter stopped working after windows update. Please help.

A few days ago, after updating my laptop (a Dell Inspiron Gaming system) my wireless adapter decided to stop working and it has been a NIGHTMARE. It's an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 and no matter what I try, it won't do its job. I've tried network reset, updating the driver, I even did a complete factory reset on the computer. When I did that, I was able to connect to wi-fi JUST long enough to update Windows again, and that fixed the issue for one whole day. Start my computer up again this morning, it's broken again. In the device manager, theres an exclamation mark next to the adapter, and I have no clue what to do anymore. I've been working on this issue for 3 days, someone please help.

I would say disable the automatic updates feature in windows (if possible and if all else fails) I am having this problem too, but only after the 1903 update

Automatic updates can no longer be disabled.  Updates are no longer optional.
