I recently installed Windows 10 Enterprise Eval build 10240 (64bit) on my Inspiron 15 (5547, Early 2014) but when I try to install drivers all drivers give me this error: "The update installer operation is unsuccessful".
Without drivers laptop is useless and I am in so much trouble.
So please fix your drivers for Inspiron 15 (5547) and check them on same laptop with same version of windows before uploading on your database.
What driver are you trying to install in particular and what hardware IDs do you have?
Also the size of the downloaded driver, in case its an incomplete download.
Audio Driver: size: 317MB
Blue tooth: Size: 97.7MB
Dell Touchpad Driver: Size: 31.9MB
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 Driver: Size:207MB
I downloaded Display drivers directly from intel and amd's websites. So they are working.
Download the following in Internet Explorer (not Microsoft Edge). Edge has been giving me incomplete downloads with some of the Dell drivers resulting in similar errors.
Intel Chipset Device Software:
Intel Management Engine Interface:
Realtek Card Reader:
Dell Touchpad Driver:
Thank you Philip for your help.
Only first 4 drivers are working correctly other drivers (Realtek Audio, Realtek Ethernet, Intel 3160, Intel BT, Dell Touchpad Driver) are still giving the same error.
Actually problem is in extraction process these drivers are not correctly compressed in .EXE format.
I solved the problem.
I use "universal extractor" to extract .EXE files correctly. Once these files are correctly extracted I simply click on "setup" and install all drivers.
Thank you Philip for your time and effort.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro on my Dell Inspiron 15- 3542. My wireless driver gets disabled randomly. Now, I'm trying to install Dell update package for Wireless driver but it shows " The update installer operation is unsuccessful."
