Alienware 17 Software reinstall
Is there anyway to get my laptop back to its original operating system and settings? Dell technical support had me use the Windows 8.1 reboot disk and now all of the drivers and original software that came with the laptop are not installed. Alienware support has been extremely unhelpful and their knowledge is extremely limited in this area.
Does anyone know how I can get the original drivers and all of the original software and programs that I purchased with my laptop. I just received it January 15 and I have already had to use the reboot disk, which probably was a mistake on technical supports part; however, there is no going back now and they want to charge me $250 to send out someone to fix the software.
Is there an easier fix? I could really use some help on this!

Please follow the instructions here to download Windows 8.1 installation media:
http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-microsoft-windows-and-office/download-microsoft-windows/download-windows-8-1-retail-and-oem-iso/
Leave the SATA Operation at default.
Then follow the instructions here to ensure you install in UEFI with SecureBoot enabled:

Then install:

The drivers I've listed are for the Alienware 17 as your title however, you tag the Alienware M17x please be consistent... Moreover there are 4 versions of M17x and I need to know what one, the first one should have shipped with Windows 7 and not Windows 8.1:

If in doubt private message me the service tag.
After you have completed these stages provide the hardware IDs of any unknown devices, network controllers and display adapters (so I can identify system variants to give you a working driver set):

Also mention what programs did you purchase with the laptop?
